The Courtyard, is a beautifully refurbished and equipped Victorian Ground Floor property suitable for all, the young and not so young…so conveniently situated in the High Street close to all that Aldeburgh has to offer…


The property is a few minutes walk from the sparkling Sea and a leisurely stroll from Aldeburgh’s many award winning restaurants, inns and shops.  You may wish to sample Aldeburgh’s many leisure facilities, take your pick from sailing on Rivers Alde and Ore, Golfing at both Aldeburgh and Thorpeness , public tennis courts, bicycles, and horse riding are all available for hire.  For birdwatchers, there is the RSPB Minsmere, perfect for walking and relaxing.

For classical music or a play, visit Snape Maltings, a unique collection of 19th Century Buildings, the largest of the kilns having been converted into a Concert Hall for the Aldeburgh Festival by Benjamin Britten, it is also an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  Travel to Aldeburgh couldn’t be simpler, you can catch a train to Saxmundham, which is a short taxi ride away from Aldeburgh, and there is also an hourly bus service. If you are travelling by car private parking is available.

Extremely comfortably furnished living room, one of the two new modern sofas, you may in the evening, wish to relax next to the wood burning stove, whilst watching the new TV/Video, or listen to a CD whilst dining.

Kitchen A completely equipped Coin de cuisine with dishwasher, microwave combi, fridge and hob.


The Bedroom has two 3ft single beds that can be pushed together making one large zip-link 6ft bed, bedside cabinet and lamps, fitted wardrobe and a chest of drawers.
